Why You Don't Wear 80% of Your Wardrobe?

Feel Good Fall Series

Did you know that statistics say, you only wear 20% of your wardrobe?

Which means you’re not wearing 80% of your wardrobe.

Have you ever thought about why don’t you don’t wear 80%?

Do you buy pieces that are just, o.k.?

You get home and think, it’s not great, but it is fine?

And then something happens in your mind when you go to reach for that piece, right?

It feels o.k. but most definitely NOT empowering, beautiful, or confident.

At the time, it didn’t really feel important what you purchased.

You just needed something to wear to your upcoming event and needed feel fine and good.

Or maybe you’re someone who buys unconsciously, not really having a reason for purchasing it.

You’ve been conditioned to think that if you bought more stuff, then you will be satisfied.

What would it feel like to LOVE your wardrobe?

I believe it’s about quality and not quantity.

In the Reveal Your Radiance Style Academy, there is an exercise called the Mini-wardrobe Audit.

1.       Identify the pieces you love and wear all the time.

2.       What are the pieces you love but don’t wear?

3.       What are the pieces you should love but don’t wear?

Identify why you DON’T love those pieces, so that you don’t keep repeating the same buying mistakes over and over.

1.       Is it the fit?

2.       The gaping button down shirt?

3.       The color?

4.       Was it an unconscious purchase because you wanted something new?

Style awareness, begin identifying why don’t you love certain pieces.

You are a powerful, confident woman who deserves to have an empowering wardrobe that lives inside your closet, I refer to as, your personal boutique.

Essential Ingredients to Elevate Your Style Confidence Part 4: Self-Acceptance

Essential Ingredients to Elevate Your Confidence, Part 4 of 5 Parts series: Self-Acceptance.

Have you caught your self being critical about your image, maybe more than you should?

Saying things like, “I don’t like my arms, I’m having a bad hair day, I hate my middle section?”

What if you began to focus on what you do like about yourself?

In business we talk say, “what you focus on, expands.”

Let’s chat about self-acceptance, I know it feels like a big emotional word.

In simple terms, it is, accepting you as you are.

Recognizing your strengths.

Self-acceptance is one of the most essential ingredients to elevating your confidence and letting your radiance be revealed.

Getting Ready for Your Branding Photoshoot with a personal Image Consultant

A brand photo shoot’s sole purpose isn’t to just capture beautiful photos, there is strategy behind the visuals. And Yes, we want you to ultimately have beautiful photos.

A brave new look.

A brand photo shoot is to help your business STAND OUT and thrive in your niche, further developing your brand presence and communicating a story.

We want to make sure your clothing choices are complimenting your brand and telling the story you are intending – creating brand harmony with you as a business woman.

7 Questions to consider when choosing your clothing pieces:

  1.       Branding colors – what are the 2-4 colors you want to emphasize?

  2.       What are 2-3 words you want others to feel about you when they see your pictures?

  3.       Do you feel ultra-confident in your clothing choices? Did you know that fitted clothing always looks better on camera vs. a non-fitted look?

  4.       How many wardrobe changes will you have?

  5.       Do you need to purchase new pieces? With virtual shopping, making sure they arrive in plenty of time to review.

  6.       Accessories – think about your favorite pieces and how they show up on camera.

  7.       Shoes – will they be seen?

Your photoshoot needs to be on purpose. It is your brand. It is representative of you; it is your business card and how others perceive you.

You want to make sure your photoshoot pictures are capturing you at your BEST all while telling your story.

Step into your Excellence. Confidence. Self-worth. Reveal Your Radiance.
